7 tips to maximize the burn time of your candle
1.Find a good quality of candle with lengthy burn time and good scent.
2.Let the candle burn each time until the entire surface turns to liquid wax. For this you should burn your candle for at least 2-3 hrs. If you extinguish the candle before the molten liquid reaches the edge, the next time you light it, it will burn up to the same point, creating a tunnel down the candle and this shorten its lifespan.
3.Trim your candle wicks regularly to remove any soot and get the cleanest and evenly burn each time you light it.
4.Donot burn candles for more than 4 hrs at a time as wicks can begin to form a mushroom.
5.Use a candle snuffer to extinguish candles and ensure that wicks stay at center.
6.To protect the pot or tray in which you have placed the candle ,never burn the last centimeter of wax.
7.Donot move a burning candle ,as the liquid wax may spill.
