1.This is very easy going plants. You can say plants for beginners.
2.This plants need indirect sunlight, not direct sunlight.
3.In this watering depend on temperature , just touch the upper layer of soil , if it is dry then water thoroughly. Water should drain off.
4.Soil should well drained , no water lodge ,water lodging leads root rot.
5.Humidity help faster growth ,normal temperature as we need i.e.20 to 25c
6.Fertilize your plant monthly. You may use compost or water soluble NPK 19 19 19 .Its a leafy plant so need more nitrogen to grow leaves.
7.Groom your plant .Remove old leaves, loosen the soil and of course keep an eye on pests.
8.Common pests are Aphids , Mealy bugs , Spider mites. You may spray neem oil with liquid soap.

1.Symptom-Leaves are turning yellow.
Cause- Overwatering
2.Symptom-Leaves are turning brown.
Cause-Harass sunlight
3.Symptom-Leaves are wilting
Cause -Underwatering
4.Symptom-Soft or black stem
Cause-root rot
5. Symptom - pale new leaves
Cause -lack of nutrition specially nitrogen
